The HealthPro Plus is for people with a medical or environmental reason to need the best possible air filtration. If you have severe allergies, asthma triggered by ultrafine particles, chemical sensitivity, or live in a wildfire-prone area, this purifier does what consumer models physically cannot. The Rabbit Air MinusA2 ($550) and Coway Airmega 400 ($300) are excellent consumer choices that handle dust, dander, and pollen — but they can't match the HealthPro Plus on ultrafine particles, viruses, or chemical filtration.

If your air quality needs are standard (seasonal allergies, pet dander, general dust), you don't need this. A $200 Coway will handle it. But if your allergist has specifically recommended medical-grade purification, this is the unit they're referring to.
